Flavia & Cecile started staging for a mutual friend as a side hustle. They fell in love with how fast-paced this industry can be and thrive on problem solving — which there is no shortage of in home staging. By 2018 they founded Upstaging Seattle, having both recognized the scarcity of high-quality staging services in Seattle during an economic upturn.
Their aesthetic, a unique blend of Organic Modern, quickly garnered attention from top builders and real estate agents in the area. In the years since, Flavia & Cecile have successfully staged over 2,500 homes. Their exceptional work has earned them a reputation as trusted luxury home staging experts among high-end realtors, investors, and real estate professionals.
Their goal as partners is simple: to leave everyone and everything better than they found it.

Meet Flavia
A globe-trotting soul hailing from Brazil but now settled in beautiful Seattle since 2012. With a degree in Fashion Design and a Master in Business Administration, she's the perfect blend of creativity and strategic thinking.
Family means the world to Flavia, and her husband, a Filipino real estate agent, is her rock. Together, they cherish every moment with their two beautiful daughters, Zoey & Aria, who light up their lives.
Flavia dreams big. She's carving her path in the staging industry, aiming to build a lasting heritage for generations to come — a legacy of love and success for her beloved family.
Adventure runs through her veins, and she's absolutely obsessed with exploring the world and experiencing new cultures. Asia, in particular, holds a special place in her heart.

Meet Cecile
A dynamic and adventurous soul originally hailing from the vibrant landscapes of Brazil. Armed with a degree in Interior Design, Cecile made a remarkable mark in her homeland by owning a prestigious interior design company. Her expertise in crafting exquisite boat designs earned her a clientele of the affluent elite in Rio de Janeiro.
Life's journey led Cecile to Seattle, where she wholeheartedly supported her husband in his thriving engineering career. Together they share an insatiable thirst for exploration — whether it's gliding down snow-covered slopes or navigating serene waters on a paddleboard, they always seek to seize the moment.
In her free time, Cecile finds joy in the company of her beloved dog, Stella, and savoring a finely crafted drink. She and her husband share an inspiring goal: to infuse their lives with enjoyment, dedicating meaningful time each day to new experiences as a couple.
From her Brazilian roots to the captivating landscape of Seattle, her story is a testament to the pursuit of happiness and the creation of beauty in every facet of life.
